Editorial Guidelines
Editorial Policy & Responsibilities

At the American Journal of Researching Science, our editors hold the highest authority in the publication process. Their decisions regarding manuscript handling—from peer review to final acceptance—are considered final. Editors are entrusted with upholding the scientific integrity and quality of all content published under our name.

Roles & Responsibilities of Editors

Scope Evaluation
Editors assess whether submitted manuscripts align with the journal’s aims and scope and meet the standards required for consideration.

Manuscript Assessment
Each manuscript is critically evaluated for its scientific content, presentation, and adherence to the journal’s publishing criteria. Editors recommend revisions to improve clarity, structure, or research quality where necessary.

Post-Peer Review Decision
Following peer review, editors thoroughly examine reviewer feedback and manuscript quality to make final recommendations for acceptance, revision, or rejection.
Publication Approval
Manuscripts meeting the journal’s quality and relevance benchmarks may be approved for publication by the editor.

Rejection Protocol
When rejecting a manuscript, editors provide clear, objective reasons based on content quality, originality, relevance, or ethical concerns.

Impartiality & Ethics
Editors must remain impartial, judging each submission on merit alone, free from bias or external influence, to preserve the journal’s credibility.

Timeliness
Editors are expected to manage their reviews and decisions within designated timeframes. If unable to review a manuscript personally, editors must assign qualified reviewers to maintain publication timelines and uphold content quality.
Responsibility for Quality
Editors are ultimately accountable for the integrity and scholarly value of all content published under their supervision. Familiarity with the journal’s reviewer guidelines is recommended to ensure consistency in evaluation.

Confidentiality
Editors must maintain strict confidentiality throughout the peer review process, from initial submission until publication. No manuscript content may be shared or discussed outside of the editorial and review process.
