Publication Ethics Statement

The American Journal of Research in Engineering and Sciences (AJRES) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows internationally accepted ethical guidelines to ensure transparency, credibility, and trust in scholarly publishing.

All authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members are expected to adhere to these ethical principles throughout the submission, review, and publication process.

Author Responsibilities

Authors submitting manuscripts to AJRES must ensure that:

  • The work is original and has not been published previously.

  • The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • All sources are properly cited and acknowledged.

  • All listed authors have made significant contributions to the research.

  • Any conflicts of interest are clearly disclosed.

  • Data presented is accurate and not fabricated or manipulated.

 

Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data.

 

Plagiarism Policy

AJRES has zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate publication. All submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts found to contain unethical practices will be:

  • Rejected immediately, or

  • Retracted if already published

 

Serious violations may result in a submission ban.

 

Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or its evaluation.

Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may result in rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

 

Peer Review Integrity

The journal ensures that the peer review process is fair, unbiased, and confidential. Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and must provide objective and constructive feedback.

 

Corrections and Retractions

If errors, ethical concerns, or misconduct are identified after publication, AJRES reserves the right to:

  • Publish corrections

  • Issue expressions of concern

  • Retract the article when necessary

 

The integrity of the scholarly record will always be protected.

 

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Editorial decisions are made independently and without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.

 

Confidentiality

All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not share or use unpublished material for personal advantage.
